Snorkeling safari in the Ras Mohammed National Reserve “Mohamed’s Head” – this is the name of the reserve, is located 25 km south of Sharm el-Sheikh – one of the best marine reserves in the world. The reserve was founded in 1983 and thanks to the research of Jacques-Yves Cousteau, who devoted many years of his life to this unique place, became popular all over the world.
Ras Mohammed excursion program:
On an excursion to Ras Mohammed, the guide picks you up from the hotel around 8.30 in a comfortable minibus, we make a stop at the rental, where you, if necessary, can rent: masks, fins, vests and swimming suits (for an additional fee).
At the beginning of the excursion to Ras Mohammed, you enter through the Gate of Allah, then you can plunge into the lake of desires, the water in this lake is really wonderful and has healing properties, it heals wounds and treats skin diseases.
Next stop for snorkeling (swimming) in the stunning beauty of the Red Sea – Barracuda Bay. Ras Mohammed is an extraordinary beauty of corals and many colorful fish.
In the reserve, there are nesting places for seven species of rare waterfowl, and on the northern coast of its part, there are vast Mangroves, which you will also visit. Mangrove trees grow in sea water and desalinate it by evaporating the salt on the underside of their leaves.
Around 14.30, you return back to the hotel.
