one of the episodes of the movie “Indiana Jones“. You will visit the Pink Gorge, see the treasury, temples, an amphitheater, a scalud.
Start your trip to Petra with a transfer from Sharm El Sheikh in a modern air-conditioned vehicle from 01:30 to 02:00. At approximately 06:00 you will reach the border town of Taba. You will be met and helped to cross the border. After entering Jordan, you will proceed to the port city of Aqaba. Board a ferry that will take you to Jordan’s “City of Red Roses” – Petra.
See the lost city carved into the rock by the Nabataeans centuries ago. You can hike or ride a camel to the Siq Canyon, which is a natural cleft in the rock. Follow the path leading into the city and you will see beautiful carved statues, idols and various buildings.
At the end of the canyon, the famous Al-Khazneh Temple, built over 2000 years ago, awaits you. The guide will take you to the Roman amphitheater, the tombs of the kings, along the street with Roman columns and to the temple of Qasr el-Bint. After seeing many of Petra’s sights, refuel with lunch at a local restaurant before returning to Aqaba port for the ferry to Taba. Upon your return to Sharm El Sheikh, you will be transferred to your hotel at approximately 23:00.
